I always believe that no place should be judged on your first visit, been here twice but the taste remain same, the paneer butter masala tastes a bit tangy still it was a good experince...the ambience is good, staffs are friendly.
It is mostly known for its non-veg section...
Nashraj was one of the popular restaurant in the 90s & among the few eateries that served non vegetarian food in the neighborhood. Used to enjoy eating here as a kid. When I visited the restaurant, almost after a decade, the first thing I noticed was the complete makeover of interiors - a testimony of an attempted renovation in the recent past. The place is still somewhat spacious and comfortable but the ambience felt gloomy. Apart from the ageing utensils, I found no problem with hygiene & cleanliness. The menu is mostly Indian and Indian Chinese. Service was tardy as the food took quite a while to reach the table while the food itself was satisfactory in terms of quantity and taste. Overall, I feel the place is stuck in a time warp but with the lack of new cafes & eateries in its vicinity unlike in the other parts of the city, Nashraj might be the only option left for a few.
This place provide a wide variety of options to choose from INDIAN and CHINESE category of the menu... Though there is nothing special about this restaurant the taste of the food is quite good... U'l probably find no one suggesting you to visit this restaurant but once you go there u'l definitely feel its worth. Service is good and the place feels soothing especially when u enter here after a tiring and exhausting shopping day in fancy bazar. My suggestion - Try this one for lunch after shopping...
